I wish I knew what went on behind Forrest Dumps..er ah Grady Little's beady eyes when he made up the lineup. Of course, Ethier would press, he didn't know if he would start or not the very next day. Of course, Griddle could run that ET wannabe/horseshit player Juan Pierre out there as sure as taxes, death and Vin Scully calling a great game.

Maybe we can rid of the bug-eyed POS and give Ethier the starting slot her earned in '06. I can't wait til Torre sees the offensive potential of Young, Ethier and Kemp and then sees the wasteland that is Pierre. Pierre will be the first $9 million per year pinch runner.

I disagree with everything you had to say, this time. What I, being the baseball genius, would have to say is trade Matt Kemp, Andre Ethier, James Loney, Andy LaRoche, and Chad Billingsley. Bring back Gonzo, put Nomar in, get Miguel Cabrera, put Loaiza in the rotation along with Brett Tomko. Signed, Bill Plaschke
