I still can't believe the slide at home by Russell. That is the kind of play that gets a team fired up, big time. I have been stuffing the ballot box for Russell, but I am mere rookie at the art compared to folks from Chicago. I mean, Geovanny Soto had a good start, but it looks like he is tapering off.

To be perfectly honest, I think letting the fans vote is a travesty. Homerism is the name of the game and when a stiff like JR Towles is getting any votes, you know the system is broken. It should go back to the coaches, managers and players to pick the team. I know this kind of thinking runs against the brain droppings of Bud Lite, but the man has all the brain power of roadkill. I mean, The Riot is among the top vote-getters at shortstop.....puleaze!
