		<description>Hi...All
I&#039;m an American Leaguer, getting into this Dodger and Phillie&#039;s
playoff series. Really am enjoying it, but this Tim McCarver and Joe Buck
I&#039;m sorry they really got to go. Maybe Buck can stay but McCraver...can&#039;t take him anymore...Get off the Manny in Boston bashing thing Tim...
.....Put a fork in me, cause I&#039;m done with it....
I would pay to have Kevin Kennedy and Rob Dibbels form XM doing the play by play. I think the coverage on FOX is good but McCarver...he got to go

		<description>Incidentally, if the Dodgers win this one, they win it in six. It&#039;s all but impossible to win a seven game series on the road.

		<description>&lt;i&gt;Tim, no one disputes that Manny’s exit from Boston was ugly, although you still have to wonder how much of that was Manny’s doing and how much of it was Scott Boras taking time away from drinking the blood of children.&lt;/i&gt;
That, by itself, was worth the price of admission.

		<description>For the second straight year, FOX drew the lowest average rating ever for Major League Baseball on broadcast television.
-
FOX Saturday Baseball averaged a 2.0 rating for 26 telecasts this season, down 13% from the previous record low of 2.3 last year. The decline in ratings may have been even larger if not for the solid 2.3 rating FOX drew on the last Saturday of the season.
-
To put the 2.0 rating in perspective, MLB on FOX finished behind the NBA on ABC (2.2 average for 19 games) for the first time since 2002.
-
Only one MLB on FOX telecast drew a 3.0 rating during the regular season (Red Sox/Yankees, July 5), while 11 telecasts drew ratings below 2.0.
-
Buck/McCarver, killing baseball in America one game at a time.

		<description>I was going to write something on McCarver&#039;s comments, but then I realized that I shouldn&#039;t waste my time. Every baseball fan worth a shit knows how absolutely atrocious that guy is...despicable, if you will. :o
