I think DeWitt could develop into something special. His minor league numbers aren’t all that special, but given how young he was, his first MLB season is pretty good. Let’s hope!

Good catch. I blame the Associated Press because they had that picture tagged as Ozuna. Good job, AP! The picture also had no uniform #, so it was hard to tell, but obviously Ozuna has a black glove while Berroa has a blue glove, so I guess you’re right. It’s fixed now.

Ouch, I’m pretty certain the picture on Pablo Ozuna’s baseball card is actually Angel Berroa. You may want to change that…

The only upside to the whole travesty at second is that we managed to find our future second sacker and he isn’t the perpetually injured Tony Abreu or the offensively challenged Chin Lung Hu….phew!

Of course, DeWitt is similar to Kent in that he is range-challenged and will stand in on a charging Ryan Howard while turning two. The bad part, I don’t think he will be the hitter Kent ever was, but I can dream. Still, he is young, inexpensive and he has potential, which sounds like a goodly portion of this team.
