MSTI’s Shameless Promotion

Nothing like a Sunday in November before the free agency period opens to shamelessly promote some MSTI work. That picture you see at the right is the cover of Graphical Player 2009, which is chock full of great baseball analysis – daily game logs for three years, fantasy points, projections for future years, etc. But most importantly is this line from the preview page:
Player commentary by team experts who’ve seen every at-bat, every play
Good news, everyone – I was asked to serve as the Dodgers team writer, so for every notable 2008 Dodger in the book, I wrote a blurb about their season and future. Fortunately, Mark Sweeney didn’t make the cut, or the baseball publishing world would have been introduced to a whole new line of expletives. So anyway, check it out – the holiday season’s coming!

Just ordered one for myself as a Xmas gift to me. Seeing as how I doubt we are adopting a 19yo Japanese girl, this will have to do.

Hey, congrats budday! Next stop? Taking Gurnick’s spot.

Shoot, Mike should aim higher than Gurnick. It would be nice if he took Plaschke’s spot.

If he takes Gurnick’s spot, he’ll have to write what the team wants. :o
