What is it with the Phillies and Dodger outcasts? Jayson Werth, Shane Victorino, Chan Ho Park? Didn’t they pick up Terry Tiffee and Pablo Ozuna after us, too?

They want Castro that badly, let them have him, but, by all means, we should continue to play up our interest in him. Anything to drive up the price for the Phillies.

Of course, having said that, in that ballpark, Castro’s going to hit double digit homeruns over a full season.

It just wouldn’t be the off season without teams overpaying for replacement level talent. Any guess on who this year’s Juan Castro will be for us? Two million dollars’ worth of Jamey Carroll perhaps?
