Xavier Paul can hit with power, can run, can play all three outfield positions and, best of all, can throw like a young Mondesi. Plus, he is doing this for the Major League minimum.

Getting the ChiSox to pay $8MM of Pierre’s salary is great.

However, it’s not like McCourt is going to spend that money elsewhere. I would hope the money would be put toward signing Bedard, Sheets, or at least Padilla. Sadly, this will not happen.
