Andre Ethier Out With Jammed Finger
May 15, 2010 at 8:26 pm | Posted in Andre Ethier | 7 CommentsAccording to basically my entire Twitter feed, Andre Ethier took a BP pitch off his pinky, serious enough that he’s out of the lineup with Garret Anderson taking over in RF. If there’s been a bigger step down in big league history, I can’t think of one. And as the previews are starting, thus ends my first and hopefully last post from a movie theater.

That’s awful, especially since Ethier has a .533 AVG against Correia. :(

Damn . . . Joe’s right: Garret Anderson coming off the bench IS scary!

Why GA instead of the much better Reed Johnson. …and, who is that former BP pitcher who jammed Andre?

Don’t look now but GA hits an RBI triple. He must of used Ethier’s bat.

And, we ought to give it up for Jamey Carroll, who has been handling the bat rather well, of late. Almost Bill Russell-like.

Too bad he blows defensively, which is the main job of a shortstop. Or player masquerading as a shortstop.

Damn now Torre is going to be worshiping Anderson forever now. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy dodgers won but now we be stuck with him.
