About the Illness

What is it, would you say, do you do here?

Mike Scioscia’s tragic illness. No, we don’t wish any real serious harm on Mike - though I wouldn’t be against some mild food poisioning when the Angels play the Blue. Why, you might ask, does the world need another Dodgers blog? And what does that awesome name refer to (edit: no more linky to videos.. thanks a lot for “protecting your copyrights”, FOX.)

On this site, we will provide our own perspective and analysis on players, what we think the organization is doing right or wrong (probably more wrong) and also occasionally have fun with tearing apart bad sports writing regarding the Dodgers or, on occasion, other teams. We also have a few other tricks up our sleeve, but if we told you right now, we’d have to kill you… and we don’t want to kill off our readership that fast! So stay tuned…

The one thing that you won’t see any time in the future is trying to fill the blog with nightly starting lineups, game recaps and the like. While that serves a good purpose, we feel that you can go to many sites for that already. For those, we would recommend the “Inside The Dodgers” blog, which provides such content.

To discuss more Dodger Baseball with other knowledgeable Dodgers fans, we also highly recommend “The Big Blue Wrecking Crew”. In our opinion, you will not find a better message forum to discuss the Dodgers with. The quality of content there is excellent, as well as the people who keep it going. They show a fantastic passion in the Dodgers.

  1. Great blog you have here. its inciteful and is what i need to hear as a person who is a hispanic and got into baseball just this year, so i’m getting used to this. haha. but great. i completely agree that bombko should be taken out of the rotation and that David Wells should be signed, although, i’m worried. but keep it up.

  2. Some of your links don’t appear to work anymore. Too bad, I would love to know why MSTI got it’s name.

  4. I like a lot of your ideas….mostly about the Dodgers need to trade Juan Pierre and let Ethier play everyday. But yeah if you have any Dodger topics you want to talk about without making a blog about it email me. I always love to talk baseball, especially with someone that knows their shit as you do.
