I watched the game. Nomar did alright, Jones needs to be benched permanently. Angel and Maza were both asleep when Vizquel stole 2nd. But Fred Lewis was the Dodger's friend today, making 5 unearned runs the difference in a win or loss. Yippee!

I don't think Hu's performance is really a solid indicator of his major league ability. He was rushed into the role, and his 2007 AAA season was the only real solid offensive output he's had his entire career. He needed to at least show he could duplicate that before he was ready.
-
At least somebody finally mentioned Ivan DeJesus, who is the better bet to make an impact with the Dodgers anyway. He always has been the better bet IMO, because of his plate discipline.

Yeah, that really hurt us that he couldn't handle it. I still haven't given up on him, though.

Well, obviously he shouldn't have been told that. Unfortunately, he was, and the Dodgers apparently have no idea how to communicate with players or something. Seriously sad. :o

This whole sordid mess (I mean really, Uribe, as if the completely useless Berroa isn't bad enough) falls right in the lap of Hu's complete inability to do anything when he basically had the world within his grasp.

He shouldn't have been told he'd be up all year, then. I think (obviously) that sending him back was the right move.

He sounds disappointed because the Dodgers apparently blindsided him. Plus, the Dodgers have said all along that "he would be up here for the whole year", now they go back on it in a sudden manner.
-
And people wonder why the Dodgers are a bad team. Just gotta go up the management chain to find the problem.
